U-M Google, Google Family Groups
Issue
Can I create or join a Google Family Group with my U-M Google account?
Resolution
You cannot create or join a Google Family Group using your U-M Google account. Family Groups are not available for use with Google Workspace for Education accounts like U-M.
If you attempt to create a Family Group using your U-M Google account, you will receive an error: "Can't create a Family Group. Family Groups aren't available for this type of account" OR "Switch accounts. Family groups aren't available for Google Workspace accounts."
