Issue
I need a Health Care Plan Verification letter from U-M that I can provide to my auto insurance.
Resolution
You can create the letter in Wolverine Access.
- Log in to wolverineaccess.umich.edu
- Select Employee Self-Service > Benefits > Health Care Plan Verification.
- Click Create Auto Verification Letter.
- The letter will be displayed in a new window and can be printed by clicking the print icon in the upper right-hand order of the letter.
Employees who are not enrolled in U-M health insurance will receive an error message.

This is also known as the Health Care Plan Verification Letter for the Michigan No-Fault Personal Injury Protections coverage.
