Issue
How do I make sure I don't send an email with sensitive information to a requester when a TDX ticket is updated?
Resolution
Use the Edit feature first for sensitive information changes instead of the Update feature so an email about the sensitive information is not sent to users
If the update involves sensitive information, use the Edit feature first to make the sensitive information changes:
- Open the ticket
- Click the Edit tab
- Make changes to the sensitive information
- Click Save
- Choose Update in the Actions tab
- Make any other updates and add comments to notify the user
- Check the visibility of attachments. Mark attachments as private with the associated check box for each attachment you don't want the customer to see the attachment in the portal
- Click Save
