My Video/Camera Isn't Working in Zoom

Video camera is not working in Zoom

Resolution

  • Make sure the camera is not being physically blocked/covered by an anti spy cover device.
  • Please make sure you have the correct camera selected in the Zoom Workspace desktop application video settings.
  • Check your camera permissions to make sure that access is not blocked for Zoom (Camera Permissions for MacCamera Permissions for Windows)
  • Restart the computer.
  • Uninstall and then reinstall the Zoom Desktop App. Info can be found here: Zoom: Installing Zoom on Your Device
  • Check if an antivirus software may be blocking camera access.
    • You may need to create a rule/exception for your antivirus program to allow an exception for Zoom. (This is generally on a personally owned computer).
