Issue
You would like to make changes to how email opens with Gmail
Example:
- Email opening below inbox
- Email opening to the right of inbox
- Email opening in separate window
Resolution
- Visit https://email.umich.edu/
- At the top right, click the Settings icon (this is the icon that looks like a gear)
- Under Reading Pane (you might need to scroll down to see this section), select your split-pane mode:
- No split
- Right of inbox
- Below inbox
