Install Software via Self-Service through MiWorkspace Software Center

Issue

Can I I install software on my MiWorkspace machine?

Resolution

MiWorkspace has many software applications available for customers to install themselves.

Self-Service software is available via the "Software Center" on MiWorkspace Windows machines, and via "Managed Software Center" on MiWorkspace Mac machines.

Windows

1. Click on the block M located in the task bar or in the System Tray (^)
2. Select Software Center
3. Click on the Applications tab if it's not already selected
4. Click on the applicable application(s) and click Install
5. You can verify the installation status by going into the Installation Status tab
   1. If you need to restart your machine to complete installation, it will note that it is awaiting a restart

Mac

1. Click on the block M located in the menu bar
2. Select Managed Software Center
3. Click on the Software tab if it's not already selected
4. Find the applicable application(s) and click Install
5. You can verify the installation status by going to the Updates tab
   1. If a restart or logout is required, that will be noted
