Lenovo Thunderbolt 5 Dock Compatibility
Resolution
The Lenovo Thunderbolt 5 docking station provides docking connections using Thunderbolt 5 (Type-C) technology. On the back of the docking station, there are multiple ports for connecting other devices. In addition to the AC power in connection, the back of the device has the following ports available: 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2 DisplayPort 2.1, 1 RJ 45/Ethernet port, 1 HDMI, 2 Thunderbolt 5 USB-C, and 1 combo Thunderbolt 5 USB-C that is used to connect to the computer. On the front of the dock, there are four ports available: 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 1 USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, and 1 3.5mm Audio
To be fully compatible, the dock must provide adequate power for the device and successfully work with 2 monitors, a mouse, keyboard, and networking. While the following MiWorkspace recommended and supported PC laptops are compatible with this dock, the dock power button only works with the Lenovo laptops:
