Desktop Backup (CrashPlan): Cannot Sign in with Shared AD Account

Body

Environment

Crashplan, Active Directory, Azure

Issue

I have shared Active Directory account that was provisioned access to Crashplan, but I'm unable to login to Crashplan using the account.

Resolution

Issues signing in to Crashplan using an AD account are often the result of the AD account not having been synchronized with Azure. If you are able to successfully sign in to a domain connected device using the AD account, then you will need to sync the AD account with Azure Active Directory.

Instructions are available at https://miworkspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CP/pages/1097269249/Sync+Active+Directory+Account+to+Azure+Active+Directory
