Managing Apple Safari Extensions

Issue

I need to manage my Safari extensions but am unsure how to view, enable, disable, or remove them.

Resolution

You can get to the Safari extensions management page by:

1. Open the Safari menu in the menu bar.
2. Select Settings (or Preferences).
3. Select Extensions.

Disable an extension

• Deselect (i.e., uncheck) the checkbox for the extension.
• This will leave the extensions installed, but will prevent it from running in Safari.

Delete an extension

• Select the extension and click the Uninstall button.
• This will completely remove the extension in Safari.

Selecting the extension will provide more information and settings specific to the extension.
