Issue
When I log in to the U-M Slack Workspace Directory (via slack.umich.edu), I cannot find/search for workspaces to join using the search bar at the top. Why can't I search for workspaces in the Workspace Directory? How do I join a workspace?
Resolution
All workspaces in U-M Slack are considered "hidden," meaning they are not searchable/joinable from the Workspace Directory (slack.umich.edu). The only exceptions to this are the Maize & Blue (public-to-UM) and umichWORKS (invite-only for staff/faculty) workspaces.
You need to be invited by a Workspace Admin from a specific workspace to join it.
