Adobe Creative Cloud Device Limit

Adobe Creative Cloud

Issue

How many devices can the Adobe Creative Cloud applications be installed & activated on?

Resolution

Adobe Creative Cloud can be installed on multiple computers; however, it can only be activated (i.e., signed in) on two computers at a time. Additionally, Adobe Creative Cloud applications can only be actively used on a single computer at a time. Mobile app (e.g., iOS & Android) and web app use do not count toward the two computer limit.

If a user reaches the activation limit on a third computer, Adobe will prompt them to sign out of one of their previously activated devices either from the web browser or the Creative Cloud app.

The device limit is set and enforced by Adobe. The University of Michigan does not have the ability to increase the device limit.

Devices activated can be reviewed and deactivated from Adobe Account - Activated devices

Note: Some applications, including Premiere Rush, Spark, and others also run on mobile devices, with the ability to share projects seamlessly from one device to another.
Be aware that if you disable cloud storage synchronization, the files created on each device will not be automatically updated on all devices; they will only be stored locally.
