New Files View in Canvas, using Panorama for accessibility
Issue
Users are unable to view Panorama icons when viewing Files in Canvas with the "New Files" view.
The "New Files" view is the default view in Canvas as of 7/19/2025.
Resolution
Update: Yuja released an update to Panorama on 8/7/25 that resolved this issue. Users should now be able to see Panorama icons in the new files view.
To address the issue with Panorama icons not appearing on the New Files View in Canvas, follow these steps:
- Select the "Switch to Old Files Page" button in Canvas Files page.
- On reload, the Files page will use the older display and the Panorama icons will be available.
This issue has been reported to the Panorama vendor and is being addressed.
