Issue
How do I turn off the "All Inboxes" view in the Gmail mobile app?
Resolution
The "All Inboxes" view in the Gmail app combines emails from multiple Google accounts into a single inbox view.
Currently, the Gmail app does not offer a direct option to disable the "All Inboxes" view. You can avoid using the combined view by not selecting "All Inboxes" from the left-side menu. Instead, you can select individual accounts from your account icon in the top right corner of the app to view emails from that specific account only.
To access the "All Inboxes" view in the Gmail app:
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
- Select Primary if All Inboxes is selected to keep the messages in their respective accounts' inboxes.
Additional Information
- The All Inboxes view is a consolidated view of multiple accounts, not a merged account.
