Non-functional Features in Outdated Versions of the Michigan App

Issue

Older versions of the Michigan app may contain deprecated code that prevents certain app features from continuing to function as originally intended.

April 2025

Starting April 2025, the People Search feature in versions older than 7.2.0 will no longer work.

September 30, 2024

After September 30, 2024, the following features no longer work in versions older than 8.0.0:

A student can not view their class schedule.
A student does not receive grade alerts.
A staff person does not receive emergency alerts.

Resolution

Anyone experiencing issues with the Michigan app should download and install the latest version from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.
