Viewing an Email Report or Attachment that is HTML formatted

Google changed the way that HTML presents in a "preview" mode. HTML files must be downloaded from the email to be viewed now.

Issue

HTML attachments in emails are not displaying correctly in preview mode after a recent Google update.

Daily reports or email attachments that are an HTML format must be downloaded from the email to be viewed. To see an example of the error refer to attachment "Example of HTML preview error"

Resolution

To properly view HTML attachments:

1. Hover over the attachment in the email.
2. Look for a download option to appear.
3. Click on the download option to save the file to your device.
4. Open the downloaded file from your device to view the content.
