Check and Update Duo Mobile Version

Environment

Duo Mobile on Android and iOS devices

Issue

Need to update Duo Mobile or check current app version.

Resolution

Check Duo Version

1. Check current Duo Mobile app version:
   1. Open the Duo Mobile app.
   2. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
   3. Find the version number displayed at the bottom of the menu pane.
2. If the version is older than the required version, update the app
3. Visit the App Store if it is an iOS device, or the Google Play Store if it is an Android device to download the latest version of Duo Mobile.

Updating Android Devices

1. Open the Google Play Store on your mobile device.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Manage apps & device.
4. Tap See details.
5. Tap Update next to the Duo Mobile app.

Updating iOS Devices

1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll down to see pending updates or recently updated apps.
4. If there is an available update for the Duo Mobile app, tap Update next to the app.
5. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password or Face ID/Touch ID.
