Resolution

TeamDynamix Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) is a web-based platform that connects different systems, technologies, and applications that are hosted both on premise or the cloud. TeamDynamix administrators use iPaaS to integrate their systems and automate their processes, eliminating some actions that in the past have been manual, including, for example, moving data from one system to another.

To facilitate iPaaS use, TeamDynamix (TDX) administrators use JSON scripts within their application's workflows. These JSON scripts use iPaaS, but admins do not need to access iPaaS to use them in their TDX workflows. These scripts are written, tested, and maintained by the ITS Service Support Team.
U-M faculty and staff who need to perform automated actions outside of standard updates to TDX tickets may be granted access to iPaaS on a case by case basis.

• TeamDynamix Admins: iPaaS Modifying Ticket Information with JSON: Provides an explanation of how to use an ITS managed iPaaS flow to update several commonly updated ticket fields from a TDX workflow. These fields include, title, status, feeds and more.
• TeamDynamix Admins: iPaaS ShortCode Validation: Provides an explanation of how to use an ITS managed iPaaS flow to validate a shortcode and update a ticket with shortcode information from a TDX workflow.
• TeamDynamix Admins: iPaaS Creating a Ticket with JSON: Provides an explanation of how to use an ITS managed iPaaS flow to create a new ticket from a TDX workflow.
• TeamDynamix Admins: Updating Tickets and Assets with JSON: Provides an explanation of how to use an ITS managed iPaaS flow to copy/move/update data between a ticket and a single asset attached to a ticket via TDX workflow.
