Issue

User is inquiring about WiFi coverage in a particular U-M campus building.

Resolution

Advise user that ITS has upgraded Ann Arbor (and Dearborn) campus WiFi infrastructure to Wi-Fi 6E. Wi-Fi 6E infrastructure provides U-M buildings and outdoor areas with pervasive WiFi coverage.

Please note the following additional locations with pervasive WiFi coverage:

• On-Campus Locations with ITS & HITS Supported WiFi
  • North Campus Research Complex (NCRC)
  • Arbor Lakes buildings (1,2, and 3)
  • Viktor C. Vaughn House
• Off-Campus Locations with ITS Supported WiFi
  • Camp Michigania
  • University of Michigan Detroit Center (3663 Woodward)
  • University of Michigan Biological Station (Pellston)
