Release COVID Compliance Hold on Student Business

Student account has service indicator of administrative hold for COVID compliance.  How can the hold be removed?


Submit the Required Documentation

Requests require either compliance with vaccination requirements or an approved exemption request. The student doesn’t have to do anything other than submit the required documentation as soon as possible. Once they submit their documentation, the Office of Student Life verifies the compliance status, and submits the information to the Registrar's office to have the hold removed. This can take 1-3 business days. 

If the student’s documentation was rejected, they will have to resubmit and go through the process again. 

To submit vaccination information or to request an exemption, students can click on the Vax Viewer tile in the COVID-19 collection in Wolverine Access, or go to, and sign in with U-M weblogin credentials.
