Additional Information

Thank you for submitting your vaccination information. As of today, your submission is verified.

For Faculty, Staff and Students

U-M face covering policy:

If you were vaccinated with an authorized vaccine by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO), you are exempt from the U-M face covering requirement. Please provide this notification to your supervisor. Your ResponsiBLUE COVID- 19 Vaccination box will update to say “Pending” or “Completed” within 24 hours. As a reminder, at this time we continue to require face coverings regardless of vaccination status in classrooms, on campus transportation, with participants for human research, and in health care areas where patients may be present. Read the full policy.

For individuals vaccinated with a vaccine that has not been authorized by the FDA or the WHO, continue to follow all U-M COVID-19 policies, such as wearing a face covering and social distance while on the U-M campuses, and if applicable (for students only), complete the required weekly COVID testing.

Waiver from quarantine:

If you are expecting a waiver from quarantine the Contact Tracing Corps will be in contact by email with these details. The quarantine waiver will be reflected in ResponsiBLUE within 1 day. Please direct any questions about quarantine to contacttracecorps@umich.edu.

If you have any questions about vaccination information submission, please contact the Campus COVID-19 Call Center 734-936-7000. Call Center hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For Students Only

Exemptions from mandatory weekly testing: Your vaccination information will automatically be used for exemption from mandatory testing. You do not need to apply separately for this exemption. Please allow 1 day for the exemption from mandatory weekly testing to be reflected in ResponsiBLUE (the testing details will be removed and your vaccination card will say “Completed”). If you are not fully vaccinated (i.e. it has been less than 14 days since your final dose), the exemption from the mandatory weekly testing will automatically be delayed and your vaccination card will say “Pending” in ResponsiBLUE until you are fully vaccinated.

Each day, every university community member (faculty, staff and student) who is present in-person on U-M property or in a U-M facility must complete a daily health assessment through the ResponsiBLUE tool, before they enter the building or property, or upon exiting living quarters if living on campus. Learn more about ResponsiBLUE.

If you have or develop COVID-19 symptoms, please contact UHS to arrange for a test. https://uhs.umich.edu/covid-testing
