ResponsiBLUE - Can Weekly Mandatory Testing Be Turned Off if I'm Vaccinated?

Environment

ResponsiBLUE, University of Michigan students, faculty, and staff, including temporary employees, on the U-M Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses - including Michigan Medicine

Issue

Do I still need to get tested even after I received a COVID-19 vaccine?

Resolution

Fully vaccinated students, faculty, and staff who submit their information via the COVID-19 Vaccination Self-Report Form available on Wolverine Access (https://wolverineaccess.umich.edu/collection/all/covid-19) will be granted an exemption from mandatory testing requirements if they meet requirements.

  • Please allow up to 10 business days to validate your submission
    • After your submission is verified and if you are considered fully vaccinated, it will be reflected in the ResponsiBLUE app the next day
  • If you have received all doses but are not yet fully vaccinated when you submit your form, this will happen automatically when you hit you fully vaccinated date
  • Once you are considered fully vaccinated, you will no longer see your testing card as you will be exempt from testing
  • You will need to continue the symptom checker in addition to your approved vaccination/exemption status to get the overall status to be 'Passed' (with a green checkmark)

Why did I receive a rejection email about my self-reported vaccination survey?

Possible reasons for rejection:

  • No name on the vaccination card
  • Vaccination card was not legible
  • The lot number entered on the form did not match the lot number on the vaccination card
  • Or the vaccination card image did not upload properly.

Please call the COVID Call Center 734-936-7000 and they will be able to tell you specifically why you were rejected and any steps to correct your record.
