Noodle Learning Payment Platform
Issue
You have a question about a refund, refund status, receipt, invoice, taxes, or other billing information for a payment made through the Noodle Learning Payment Platform.
Resolution
Request a refund
Michigan Online offers certain paid services, including courses, series, and programs. Program fees are listed in USD. You are responsible for additional fees and taxes.
Tuition based programs, online degrees, and for credit certificates are subject to program-specific refund policies. A prepayment for a course, series, program, or another paid service is eligible for a refund when the request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the later of these two dates:
Please be advised that in the event of a refund, Michigan Online will reserve 5% of the cost of the service, pre-tax, to cover transaction fees.
Submit the request by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the applicable deadline using the Michigan Online Support request form.
Refunds are not issued when:

A certificate or other award has already been issued, even if this occurs during the 14-day refund period.

The payment was made to obtain a certificate or award after all course requirements had already been completed.

The request is based on dissatisfaction with final grades or completion status.

The learner violated the Terms or Learner Engagement Policy.

We also reserve the right to deny refund requests or issue only partial refunds, including by refunding a purchase at a proportional rate based on completion percentage, where we, at our sole discretion, have identified a pattern of abuse involving these requests.
Refund status
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time varies by payment method and financial institution. Even after a refund is approved, it may take several business days to appear on your account.
Receipts, invoices, and taxes
Taxes may be applied based on your billing address and local regulations. Michigan Online Support can explain the transaction details shown on a receipt or invoice but cannot provide legal or tax advice.
