Team Health

See which teams need support

After each Team Check, Tandem will evaluate how each team is doing. There are possible three categories:

  • Needs Support: These teams are experiencing critical issues.

  • Approaching Trouble: These teams are trending toward "Needs Support" but don't have critical issues yet.

  • Working Well: These teams seem to be doing well, based on their Team Check data.

Teams that need support or are approaching trouble will appear on your dashboard.

Interpreting the data

See the article about how to interpret team data for details.

Individual Health

Most instructors choose to reach out to individuals in the Needs Support category.

Click on the student's card to show their individual details.

The student card shows:

  • Team assignment

  • Student responses to Team Checks

  • Status of assigned

    • Lessons

    • Team Checks

    • Surveys

  • Reasons Tandem thinks the student needs support

  • Team Evaluation results (in our example, the Midterm survey)

  • Student Login history. Pro-tip: This is the first place to check if a student says they have completed an assignment, but didn't receive credit.

See the article about how to interpret students' data for details.

See Team Check visualizations

The Team Check visualization shows you the average team check score, on each item, for all teams in the course.

Click “View By Team" to see a specific team's visualization.

This visualization is a great way to get a sense of how the class is doing overall.

Check Assignment Completions

The assignment completion section shows how many students have completed each Tandem assignment.
