Creating Question Sets

Question sets allow you to group specific questions together outside of the confines of a topic or topic group. These are one way to create practice exams (more here (practice exam)), but they are also great for review/study sessions and as a way to consolidate material students are struggling with.

Creating a Question Set

1. Go to your course’s Admin Console from the dropdown menu in the top right

2. Go to the Question Sets tab

3. Click the “Create Question Set” button

 

Details:

Required - 

• Name: We recommend these be descriptive of the set’s content or purpose (e.g. “Practice Cell Theory Questions” or “Exam 1 Review”)

Optional - 

• Internal Notes: Write a description or add additional info for staff here; students do not see this

 

Adding Questions

Finding Questions:

1. Click the “Select Questions” button

2. Pick from all questions or only those in a particular topic by using the drop-down in the top left of the popup

Choosing Questions:

1. Select questions by clicking the checkbox by the question name/number

2. Click the “Save” button at the bottom once you’re done
