Export Data

At GradeCraft, we know that transparency is not just for students!  Therefore, almost all of the data in your course can be exported and used off-line. This includes grades, badges, assignment submissions, and more.

Exporting data lets you easily work with data in a different program or format. You can see which students are earning the most badges, create a backup of your course and assignment structure or save an archival copy of your grade book. 

 

Data exports can be accessed by clicking the "Data Exports" link under "Overview" (expand the "Overview" folder if needed) in the left-hand navigation menu:

There are several standard data reports that you may find useful for tracking and archival purposes.  These reports can be downloaded in a .CSV format.  Reports include the following fields:

  • Final Grades
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Score, Grade, Level, Earned Badge #, GradeCraft ID, Last Logged In, Auditing
  • Full Gradebook
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Section, Final grades for all Assignments
  • Multiplier Gradebook [if multipliers are enabled in your course]
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Section, Raw and Multiplier-weighted grades for all Assignments
  • Learning Objectives Outcomes [if learning objectives are enabled in your course]
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Section, Current Outcomes for All Learning Objectives
  • Assignment Type Summaries
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Section, Raw and capped scores for all Assignment types
  • Assignment Structure
    Assignment ID, Name, Point Total, Description, Open At, Due At, Accept Until Date
  • Assignment Submissions
    Submission ID, Assignment ID, Assignment Name, Student ID, Group ID, Student Comment, Created At, Updated At, Score, Grader Feedback, Grade Last Updated
  • Awarded Badges
    First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, Badge ID, Badge Name, Feedback, Awarded Date
  • Badges
    Badge ID, Name, Point Total, Description, Times Earned
  • Grading Scheme
    Level ID, Letter Grade, Level Name, Lowest Points, Highest Points
  • Course Analytics
    Event data including pageviews, predictions, and logins

You can also download a report about any specific assignment type that will show you the score for each student in just that category.
