How do I set up a pass/fail grading style?

The Pass/Fail grading option in GradeCraft offers a straightforward approach for assessing student performance. With this option, instructors can designate whether students have met the criteria for success without assigning specific point values.

To use the pass/fail grading style on an assignment:

1. Click on “Assignments” from the left-hand navigation bar

2. Create a new assignment by clicking "Add A New Assignment +", or navigate to the assignment you wish to change to pass/fail.  If you're modifying an existing assignment:

a. Click the assignment name.  You will be taken to the "Descriptions and Downloads" page which displays the descriptions and attachments of this assignment

b. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, find the button for "Edit" which will allow you to make changes to the assignment

3. Next, click on the "Details" tab. Scroll down until you find the "Grading Style" section of the page.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

4. Select "Pass Fail." Here, you also have the option to select "Student Logged." Enabling this option allows students to self-report their grade for this assignment.
