Add Students to a Course

 

Add Users Individually

  1. Click “Students” under "Users" from the left hand side menu
  2. Click “+ New Student” on the top right corner
  3. Choose "New User" if the student does not have a UM account; choose "New U-M User" for UM students
  4. Fill in the user’s information.
  5. A welcome and activation email will automatically be sent to the new non-UM user; for UM users, you may choose to send the email or not.

Note: If you’re adding a non-University of Michigan user (who also does not have a friend account with the university) to your course, please be sure to inform and send them this log-in link.

 

Add Users in Bulk

The best way to get students access to GradeCraft is through the Canvas integration.  Once GradeCraft has been added to Canvas, students will be automatically added to your site the first time they click on the GradeCraft link.

 

Note: if you decide not to use Canvas but still want to import students in bulk, let us know at help@gradecraft.com and we will help you with the process.
