Marsal Family School of Education transfer applicants must also submit two additional essay questions as follows.
- One essay addressing how your experience and career goals prepare you to fulfill the Educator Preparation Program program mission and vision statements (4,000 character limit, approx. 500 words)
- One essay describing your experiences (work and/or volunteer) engaging with youth (2,000 characters, approx. 250 words)
In addition, one optional essay related to the impact of COVID-19 on the applicant may be submitted. We encourage students to share their specific circumstances, and we will bring empathy and compassion to our holistic review process.
We strongly encourage applicants to stay within the given guidelines regarding word limits. Any characters beyond the stated limit will be cut off and applications with incomplete essays will not be viewed as competitive.
