What services and accommodations are there for students with disabilities?
Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services (SAAS) has four teams that work together to support disabled students at the University of Michigan:
- Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD): Gives disabled students equitable access in their classes and in on-campus housing.
- Academic Support & Access Partnerships (ASAP): Offers workshops, coaching, and other programs to support disabled students' academic success.
- Testing Accommodation Centers (TAC): Provides a quiet place for disabled students to take tests and helps faculty make sure students get the testing help they need.
- Adaptive Sports and Fitness (ASF): Helps disabled and non-disabled people at the university and in Ann Arbor learn about and join in sports and fitness activities.
