How does the University of Michigan transfer credit from a school on a quarter-calendar?
Some schools are on a quarter system instead of a semester system. The quarter credits will transfer to U-M, but they will be converted into semester credit hours.
To calculate quarter credits into U-M credits, multiply by 2/3 and round up. For example, a 4-quarter course will count as 2.67 semester hours.
