U-M High School Visits and College Fairs

How can I learn more about the University of Michigan and get my questions answered in person without visiting campus?

You can learn more about U-M by speaking with one of our representatives at a high school visit or college fair. Check with your high school counseling office to see if your school is scheduled for a virtual or in-person high school visit or if there is a national fair to which you may be invited to attend virtually or in-person. You may also go to the NACAC College Fairs webpage to register for a college fair in your area. Unfortunately, UM-Ann Arbor admissions counselors do not travel abroad to recruit and are unable to arrange non-U.S. high school visits.

If you are unable to attend a high school visit or college fair, we've created a Virtual Resources webpage. Here you can view a video of our Information Session and attend one of our live Virtual Post-Information Session Q&As, led by an admissions counselor, where you’ll be able to ask any questions you may have.

First-year applicants who have additional questions should contact their U-M admission counselor directly; find your admissions counselor on our Contact Us webpage.

Transfer applicants who have additional questions should contact us as follows:

  • If you currently attend a U.S. institution and are interested in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) or the College of Engineering, email oua-transfers@umich.edu.
  • If you currently attend an international institution (outside of the U.S.) and are interested in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), email the admissions counselor for your country/city
  • If you currently attend an international institution (outside of the U.S.) and are interested in the College of Engineering, email oua-transfers@umich.edu
  • For all other transfer inquiries, please contact the school or college into which you are seeking admission.
