U-M High School Visits and College Fairs

I am unable to visit the University of Michigan campus for an information session and tour. How can I learn more about the University of Michigan and get my questions answered?

You can learn more about U-M by speaking with one of our representatives at a high school visit or college fair in your area. Our undergraduate admissions team members are knowledgeable about U-M and the myriad details of the admissions process and are passionate about bringing the very best students to our world-class campus. Check with your high school counseling office to see if your school is scheduled for a virtual or in-person high school visit or if there is a national fair to which you may be invited to attend virtually or in-person.

There is a complete list of college fairs posted yearly in September on our website. Although we are not participating in on-site college fairs at this time, we are participating in a number of virtual fairs. Please see the NACAC College Fairs listing for current information.

Unfortunately, UM-Ann Arbor admissions counselors do not travel abroad to recruit and are unable to arrange non-U.S. high school visits. However, virtual resources are available on the Admissions website.

First-year applicants who have additional questions should contact their U-M admission counselor directly; find your admissions counselor on our Contact Us webpage.

Transfer applicants who have additional questions should contact us as follows:

  • If you currently attend a U.S. institution and are interested in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) or the College of Engineering, email oua-transfers@umich.edu.
  • If you currently attend an international institution (outside of the U.S.) and are interested in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), email the admissions counselor for your country/city
  • If you currently attend an international institution (outside of the U.S.) and are interested in the College of Engineering, email oua-transfers@umich.edu
  • For all other transfer inquiries, please contact the school or college into which you are seeking admission.
