If I (or my parents) own a house in Michigan, am I automatically considered in-state?
Simply owning a house or property in Michigan does not demonstrate permanent domicile under the university's Guidelines for Qualifying for In-State Tuition, and, in and of itself, will not qualify a person for in-state classification for tuition purposes.
