How long do I need to live in Michigan to be classified as in-state?
There is no specific time period or durational requirement which will automatically qualify an applicant for in-state tuition classification. The university's Guidelines for Qualifying for In-State Tuition provide three distinct tracks by which a student may demonstrate their eligibility for classification as an in-state student.
