User Notes - Migration of LessonSketch Depictions to LessonDepict

The migration is done using an automated script; the results are not 100% accurate. The user will need to adjust certain things in the converted depiction. The below information helps the user understand the limitations of the migration script.

• Some characters’ facial expressions need to be adjusted.
• Some speech bubbles and their call-out/tail need to be adjusted.
• Formulas are added as PNG images, so they are not editable.
• Inscriptions are not currently supported, so all the inscriptions need to be redone in LessonDepict.
  • Only the Text from the Inscriptions is added as a Text Element.
• Pictures (uploaded by the user) are not currently supported. The user needs to re-upload them in LessonDepict.
• In most cases, the slide order is preserved, but the user needs to verify this and reorder the slides if necessary.
• Static backgrounds are not supported (e.g., Hands and Paper background, Custom backgrounds). As a workaround, those backgrounds can be added as a picture and can be layered to appear behind other elements.
• Slide thumbnails are not updated automatically, so the user needs to manually update them from the menu option (Slide > Update All Thumbnails).
