Get the Embed Code
Among other methods, Kaltura videos can be embedded in Canvas using an embed code.
- Go to the main MI Video site. If it doesn't show your media, choose Login in the top right and sign in.
- Click on the video you want to embed.
- Below the video click the Share tab and then click the Embed tab.
- Copy the embed code provided.
With the code copied, head over to Canvas.
Embed Video in Canvas
A video embed code can be used almost anywhere in Canvas where you have a text box.
- On the edit screen for a page, discussion, announcement, or quiz question, click the html editor button in the bottom right corner of the text box.
- Paste the embed code you copied in the first section.
- Click Save or Update Question depending on where you are embedding the video.
