SSC - HR - New Hire Paperwork

All Faculty and Academic appointments not processed through eRecruit, should be submitted through the new hire paper process below.  Note: Batchload processes are not impacted.

Need to complete new hire paperwork if this is a first time appointment. If already an active employee of the University, use the Additional Appointment PAR process.   

Below is a list of titles and which forms are needed in the new hire packet.

Regular Clinical Instructional, Regular Instructional, Supplemental Instructional, Primary, Emeritus/a, Academic-Administrative Ungraded, LEOs

Need to complete new hire paperwork if this is a first time appointment. If already an active employee of the University, use the Additional Appointment PAR process.

House Officers, Research Fellows, Clinical Intern/Field Students

*Research Fellow appointments require a PH.D. and documentation may be required

You are able to submit new hire paper forms for faculty and academic appointments through our simple eForm by clicking the 'Submit New Hire Paperwork' button on the right

Please note: Direct Deposit and tax forms should be sent to the Payroll office.
Benefit forms should be sent to the Benefits office by fax (734)763-0363 or by mail:

Additionally, a Regents Communication, AAR, posting, or waiver may be required depending on the position. See SPG 201.22 for more information on hiring staff members. It is not necessary to include Regents Communication paperwork with appointment paperwork.
