MiVideo Mediaspace
Referred to as “mini-portals”, channels are personally managed, user generated media collections in MiVideo. They can be configured in a variety of ways from fully open collaborative collections to private collections locked down to specific groups. Viewers can subscribe to channels to be notified when new content is added. See related

Issue
Search for and filter through channels in MiVideo Mediaspace.
Resolution
- Navigate to My Channels:
- MiVideo Mediaspace: user drop-down menu > My Channels
- Search and Filter:
- Enter a Search term in the text box. Search for words in channel names, tags, or both. Press Enter.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to locate your channels
- Filter based on date, media type, and management/ownership
- If you are looking for a specific term, place it between double quotes
- Combine filters and search terms to quickly find your media
- Sort By search results based on date, alphabetically, or other fields
