Hide Incoming Zoom Phone Calls while in a Zoom Meeting

Issue

You are experiencing disruptions during your Zoom Meetings due to incoming Zoom phone calls. A pop up notification of the incoming call appears and blocks your screen, which can be disruptive especially when you are presenting or concentrating on the meeting.

Resolution

To hide incoming calls while in a Zoom meeting, follow these steps:

1. Log into the Zoom Desktop application.
2. Click on the profile picture (or initials) at the top-right of the app.
3. Click Settings in the dropdown menu.
4. Click "Phone" on the left side of the settings menu.
5. Check the box under Incoming calls that says "Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom meeting".

Additional Information

Note: If you are in a Zoom meeting using the desktop client, your provisioned desk phones will still ring. If you are in a Zoom meeting using the mobile app and the setting is turned off, you will still get notifications for incoming Zoom Phone calls.
